On January 15, 1987, the Standard Securities Corporation was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which, as one of its functions, screens applications for broker’s and dealer’s licenses and supervises them together with Stock Exchanges.
The primary purpose of the company, which still remains its core business 27 years after its incorporation, is to act as the stock broker of the following:
The issued and outstanding capital stock of the company is 45% owned by Mr. Domingo E. Herrera. Other stockholders of the company are all individuals whose ownership ranges from 2% to 21%.
